A unique rhythmic gymnastics tournament took place due to the initiative of Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva for the fourth time

In 2024, it will be held in Qatar for the first time. The competitions will be held according to the specially developed rules of the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association. In the tournament, along with the individual program, group exercises will be presented for the first time.

Gymnasts will perform with five apparatus: rope, hoop, ball, clubs, ribbon. The participants will be both seniors and juniors. The seniors will compete both in the all-around and in individuals, the juniors - only in individuals. In group exercises, teams of seniors will perform, they will go out with five hoops, as well as three ribbons and two balls.

There will be a live broadcast on the Sky Grace website all days of the tournament.

Tournament Rules

Sky Grace Cup international tournament will be held in Doha from November 20 to 22. These competitions will be held according to the rules of the Sky Grace International Clubs Association. The competitions will be held in individual exercises according to the seniors and juniors program and in group exercises according to the seniors program. The individual gymnasts  will compete in five apparatus: rope, hoop, ball, clubs and ribbon, group exercise gymnasts — with five hoops, as well as three ribbons and two balls.

We would like to pay special attention to the exercise with a rope. This apparatus is not present in competitions held under the auspices of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG). Also, in the individual program, gymnasts will have to demonstrate 8 elements of body difficulties, including 2 combined elements (for seniors). As well as 4 dynamic elements with rotation under the throw and 15 elements of the object.

The composition in group exercises for seniors should contain a maximum of 10 elements of body difficulties: at least 4 difficulties without exchange and at least 4 difficulties with exchange.

By increasing the cost of complex and spectacular elements, we strive to make our sport even more spectacular, and the title of the strongest gymnasts rightfully went to the best of the best.

The cup of the international tournament Sky Grace

The cup is the main trophy of the unique Sky Grace tournament. For many months it was being created by the best specialists of the studio of stone-cutting art "Svyatogor" in Yekaterinburg and the workshop of decorative and applied art "LiK" in Zlatoust (Chelyabinsk region). The сup layout was designed using the latest 3D technologies.

In the work of the master, rare noble stones were used. They laid out the entire design of the cup, which is made in the style of Russian mosaic. The cup is decorated with silhouettes of gymnasts made of white kaholong — a mineral of extraordinary beauty. In the hands of the athletes — all five subjects of rhythmic gymnastics, made of blue agate: jump rope, hoop, ball, clubs, ribbon. Another striking detail is a gilded statuette of a gymnast performing the legendary element of Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva, "a drop".

The names of all the winners of the international tournament Sky Grace will be immortalized on the сup. The name of the first champion, Lala Kramarenko, has already been engraved on the base of the trophy.

The сup will be permanently stored at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy. The winners of the tournament will receive a mini-copy of the trophy as a keepsake.
